Medical Staff

Gerald P. Corcoran, M.D. Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Dr. Corcoran attended Boston College in Chestnut Hill. He then obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. He completed an Internship and Residency Training while serving in the United States Navy.

Upon discharge from the Navy in 1971, Dr. Corcoran came to Needham, assuming the practice of Alan Morrissey. He, his wife Mary, live in Needham and have raised their four children here.

Dr. Corcoran is the Founding President of Needham Family Practice.


Kenneth P. McWha, M.D.  Born and raised in Massachusetts, Dr. McWha attended Brandeis University in nearby Waltham and obtained his Medical Degree through the United States Air Force at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Following his Military Service , he completed his Family Practice Residency at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts, completing his rotations several years ago.  He and his wife enjoy life with their two children and a wide range of other family in Massachusetts


Patricia A. Langill, F.N.P. grew up in neighboring Connecticut, and ventured to Boston to attend the Faulkner Hospital School of Nursing. She continued her education at the University of Lowell, and attaining a Bachelor of Science Degree.

She advanced into The Family and Community Health Nurse Practitioner Program She received a Master of Science Degree, and is Nationally Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been with Needham Family Practice since joining in 1991. She resides in Arlington with her two children.
